Safety Fest 2026: Bringing Our Teams Together Across Windsor, GTA, and Greensboro

At Empire Roofing Corporation and Procon Roofing, safety is more than a policy. It is part of how we plan, how we work, and how we protect the people and properties connected to every project.

This year, Safety Fest 2026 brought our teams together across three locations: Windsor, Ontario; the GTA; and Greensboro, North Carolina. Over multiple days of training, workshops, demonstrations, and team discussions, our crews had the opportunity to step away from the daily pace of the jobsite and focus on the safety practices that guide our work every day.

Hands-On Training for Real Roofing Environments

Safety Fest is designed around the real work our teams perform in the field. Throughout the sessions, crews participated in hands-on training, practical refreshers, equipment reviews, and open discussions focused on jobsite awareness, fall protection, tools, emergency planning, communication, and safe work practices.

These sessions are not about checking a box. They are about giving our teams time to slow down, ask questions, share experience, review best practices, and continue strengthening the standards we bring to every jobsite.

Whether our crews are working on a large-scale new construction project, an occupied commercial building, an industrial facility, or a service repair, safety impacts every person involved.

A safe jobsite protects our crew.
A safe roof protects everything underneath it — your tenants, your customers, your business, and your asset.

A Company-Wide Commitment

By hosting Safety Fest across Windsor, the GTA, and Greensboro, we are able to bring consistent training and safety conversations directly to our teams in each region. Each location plays an important role in the work we do across Canada and the United States, and Safety Fest gives our teams the opportunity to align around shared expectations, procedures, and values.

From field crews and service teams to safety leadership, project management, operations, and vendor partners, Safety Fest creates space for learning, conversation, and continuous improvement.

Thank You to Our Partners in Safety

We would also like to recognize our trusted partners in safety, including Elevate, White Cap, Roofmart, and Convoy Supply, for taking part in this year’s Safety Fest events.

Their involvement helps support important conversations around products, equipment, training, and jobsite safety, while giving our teams direct access to the tools, knowledge, and resources connected to the work they perform every day.

Raising the Standard Together

At Empire Roofing and Procon Roofing, we believe safety is built into every stage of the process — from planning and preparation to execution, service, maintenance, and long-term roof performance.

Safety Fest 2026 was a chance to bring our teams together, reinforce that commitment, and continue building a culture where safety, quality, and accountability go hand in hand.

Thank you to our safety team, leadership team, presenters, vendor partners, and every crew member who participated in this year’s events across Windsor, GTA, and Greensboro.

Together, we continue to raise the standard for commercial and industrial roofing safety.
