At Empire Roofing, building a strong team means more than just working side by side — it means creating moments together that celebrate who we are beyond the job site.
Every fall, our Windsor office gathers for one of our favourite traditions: a day of apple picking with our families at Thiessen Orchards. From fresh cider to wagon rides and rows of crisp apples, it’s a chance to enjoy the season, connect outside of work, and appreciate the people who make up our Empire family.
What started years ago as a simple team outing has now grown into an annual tradition our staff and their kids look forward to. Hoodies on, smiles out, and camera rolls full — it’s a reminder that strong teams are built not just by what we do, but by how we grow together.
This year’s outing was no exception. We spent the afternoon laughing in the pumpkin patch, gathering apples, and sharing warm moments with coworkers, spouses, and little ones. It’s days like these that reflect our culture — one rooted in respect, connection, and the little joys that make the big work worthwhile.
We’re grateful for our Empire crew — from long-time staff to the newest hires — and to the families who support them. Here’s to more fall fun, and another year of growing stronger together.
