Elevate recently featured one of our large industrial re-roofs in Hamilton, and for good reason: it’s a half-million square feet of smart design, tight execution, and future-focused planning. The case study video shows the pace and precision our crews kept from summer into fall, with Elevate’s technical team partnering with us on details that mattered at this scale.
From day one, the goal was a durable, energy-efficient roof that could support an extensive solar program. We selected an Elevate MAX PVC assembly over high-R insulation—an approach that delivers strong long-term performance and the reflectivity facility teams want on large industrial footprints.
On a project this size, sequencing is everything. Our crews kept production moving in tight windows while Elevate’s technical specialists stayed close—troubleshooting in real time, validating details, and helping us push through changing weather without sacrificing quality. The result is a consistent install across a massive footprint, delivered safely and on schedule.
The system is solar-ready, with structural and layout considerations planned so a PV array can be installed across roughly 80% of the roof. That future-proofing was baked into our design approach, so when the owner is ready, the roof is ready—no do-overs required.
Empire has been building and maintaining roofs since 1929, and our long relationship with Elevate is a point of pride. Over the years we’ve earned recognition across their top contractor programs—including Master Contractor, President’s Club, Inner Circle of Quality, Hall of Fame, and the Excellence Award for Sustainability—reflecting the same things this Hamilton project shows: craftsmanship, safety, and dependable results.
