Empire Roofing delivered the complete flat roofing scope for Americold’s state-of-the-art cold storage facility at Port Saint John — a critical logistics hub supporting temperature-controlled supply chains in Atlantic Canada.

Working in close coordination with the General Contractor and project partners, our team installed a high-performance TPO roofing system engineered to perform in demanding cold storage conditions. The assembly includes a robust vapor control strategy, high-R insulation, and reinforced detailing designed to manage thermal movement and condensation risks unique to temperature-controlled environments.

Given the building’s specialized use, attention to air tightness, moisture management, and long-term durability was paramount. The completed system provides a low-maintenance, energy-efficient roof envelope built to support continuous operation in a high-performance industrial setting.

From planning through final inspection, Empire executed the project with strict adherence to manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and schedule commitments — delivering a durable, warranty-backed roofing system designed for long-term performance.
